four years ago, my friend lisa marie gave me a mixtape with the most beautiful songs. one i really, really fell for was a cover version of kylie minogue’s „put your hand on your heart“ by josé gonzález (i also loved this one and that one). it’s been forever since i’ve listened to any of his songs, but tonight i couldn’t stop taking my mind off him. there’s something so soothing and peaceful about the way he plays the guitar and uses his voice that makes me go right to my happy place.
