01-03 | senior doggo mäxchen aka lil max is staying for three weeks. he's dazed, confused and a very slow fluffy dumpling, so i guess he'll fit right in.

04 | i'm not good at accessorising but i am very much into these two bracelets that i have worn proudly for a week now.

05 | my great-grandparents probably would be horrified at the fact that i refer to their jesus on the cross as "that decorative crucifix over there", but hey, you've got to stay true to yourself, and that decorative crucifix has to share a wall with my hip hop calender now.

06 - 08 | the endeavour to make my mother see a new beginning in an ending is slowly yielding results. we spend our saturdays eating out, browsing furniture shops, sometimes even with a glass of champers, and i'm counting this as a major win.

09 | on a murphy's law monday where everything that could go wrong really did go wrong, a loo stall reminded me that little setbacks are just spicy plot twists to keep things interesting. a+ for this collaborative artwork that people just keep adding to.

10 - 11 | i am so happy that i've recently found such a clever, empathetic, strong and kind new friend in @sani1elf. i am equally sorry that it almost took me a week to discover that she had left a card on my way-too-cluttered office desk.

12 - 13 | still going on walks with mom whenever i work from home. she finally worked out how to properly use her nordic walking poles. another win.

14 | made wontons, froze them in style. migra kids know the deal.
•
15 | bought a waffle, thought of donkey. iykyk.
•
16 | my friend m. always asks me about my ultimate goal. what a silly question. i'm here to make friends and be happy, on a mission to lead a soft life.

01 + 02 | my mother returned from thailand with a suitcase full of mangoes and fish, straight from my auntie pai's trees, the boat of my auntie lie's ship, and the love of a 1000 ancestors. maybe it really is time to move.

03 + 04 | sun, risen, rising.

05 | scratch success, lucky.
•
06 + 07 | nose spray has saved me during this flu season. i find myself thinking a lot about the person having to decorate the customer stopper in front of my doctor's office. did you do the woodwork yourself? what kind of bird is this? why is it smack dab in the middle? did you have fun laminating all the pieces of paper? i know i would have.

08 | a good boy.

09 | meetings in ludwigshafen, overseen by instruments.

10 | my father's last remaining friend, our neighbour franz, passed away exactly four months after him. grief is so hard, but also such a bonding experience. we sat with franz's daughter for a long time, sharing anecdotes, crying silently, sipping coffee, and saying "come over any time you feel lonely".

11 | selling my lola young ticket was sad, but seeing how happy it has made somebody else was glorious. have fun, lena!

12 | ghost trees are for lovers, and i am one.
