this is for gladys in beijing who asked me about my favorite romantic song in german. the first one that came to mind was „halt mich“ („hold me“) by herbert grönemeyer. this is what love sounds like to me (in german at least. in english this song nails it pretty much). and couldn’t care less if you think it’s cheesy 🙂
